NaPoWriMo: Ancient Faces

Reflection in the mirror/ reflection in the sea

weathered face/ rough-hewed crags

lines, a lattice/ covering the surface

age and time/ splitting it

new wrinkles/  as it rises

formed, /  an ancient mountain

but unseen by blinded eyes / cloud-veiled

      • I would love to get to the new Barnes one of these days…I’m sure I missed a lot when I saw it years ago in the old mansion. And I love shadow puppets too! I was just looking at a book of hand shadows at the thrift shop, thinking how to incorporate it into some artwork.

  1. I like wordplays and you made this so interesting by using the different definitions of each set of pictures to go with the words. The lovely photos really pulled this together with your effort! 🙂
