I’m not certain if Mr. Elusive Trope is still doing his Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge, but I decided to consult the Elusive Fridge Oracle today and received this bit of Sunday morning wisdom from her.

  1. This was a sweet and dear poem, Merril. I felt a kind parent who was like an angel, with a velvet voice went in to wake their two children.
While looking on those two little ones, who may have eaten caramel ice cream, seeing their breath go in and out. Smelling “caramel breath.” πŸ™‚
Once awakened, they will recognize their parent’s soft voice. ❀

    • I’m glad you got such a great feeling from the poem, Robin, and that you imagined such a sweet story to go with it. (I think I was fortunate with the tiles this time.) πŸ™‚

  2. Mmmmm… caramel breath. Of course an angel would have caramel breath. πŸ™‚ There is something very peaceful about this, Merril. Perfect for a hot Sunday evening.
