In the night listen–

that soft voice,

a breeze comes with perfume

hot fire lips explore,

the kiss lingers,

this marble ghost like smoke–

remember

when you wake

  2. This is a ghostly love portrayed through poetic words, perfect for Halloween. I loved the “marble ghost like smoke” and how it does resemble this female phantom, Merril.

I was reading comments which sounds like you lost your first magnetic poem. I hate when this happens but always feel my second attempt is more cohesive. Did you feel this?

    • Thank you for your comments, Robin!
I’m not sure, but you may be right that this poem was more cohesive than the one I lost. It was a somewhat similar theme. Perhaps the Oracle does know best! ๐Ÿ™‚
