Sweet spring shines
come flower,
bird, and bee,
squirrel over tree,
a secret song,
pure poetry
must grow, thrive
at peace, but knowing
if my blue earth, a sanctuary
is soon through,
we blossom, berry, bough, follow, too
from sacred garden to prairie brown,
how eden leaves

Day 22, NaPoWriMo.Β The Magnetic Poetry Oracle was true to the prompt. She gave me an Earth Day Georgic Verse.
so lovely –
Thank you, Beth!
She gave you an apt message! Funny that I wasn’t going to follow the NaPo prompt and the oracle sort of shoved me in that direction too.
Oh, I didn’t see yours yet. The Oracle is all-wise and knowing. . . π
Some world leaders I can think of would be well-advised to listen to her π
Most definitely. Some don’t read very well though.
They got thumbs though.
Yes. Sigh.
Nicely done!
Thank you! π
Stunningly beautiful Merril!
Thanks so much, Holly. The Oracle was in strong and giving mood this morning. π
The Oracle knows.
She is wise.
A beautiful bouquet for Mother Earth. (K)
Thanks so much, Kerfe!
The oracle does like to shine its wisdom wonderfully down on your girls!!
Thanks, Damien. π
I loved the lines ” if my blue earth, a sanctuary, is through” very much
Thank you! π
Wow, loved this one!
Thank you! The Oracle really wanted this message to come out. I can’t believe I even got rhymes from her. π
This is a pretty spring and lovely seasonal poem, Merril. It has both hope and an element of reality, with the line about if earth as a sanctuary is “through” . . .
Thank you, Robin. I was quite pleased with what the Oracle gave me with this one!
