Moon goddess whispers a shadow
(say it).
Her language is the smooth smell of never–
she aches music,
and shines light in diamond sprays
when we sleep,
a storm,
a delirious symphony of beauty and blood–
urging,
what if. . .?
I’m off prompt for today, the penultimate NaPoWriMo day for this year. I visited the poetry Oracle instead.
‘a delirious symphony of beauty and blood’
Love what comes of playing with words in the unexpected.
Thank you. The phrase fits dreams, don’t you think? 🙂
It does, indeed. I like playing with the magnetic poetry, too. I also have spent years creating word tickets (a la PoemCrazy). I have three boxes of words taped to the back of tickets that I go to often.

Clearly, the moon goddess knows that shadows are meant to be whispered.
Clearly. 🙂
Well done – I too like the delirious symphony…..
Thank you, Derrick.
“she aches music”–another vivid message from the Oracle. And haunting art too. (K)
Thank you, Kerfe.
