Recall the Dreams

Recall when we

watched the moon, a peach

rising—and

crying for

us? The sad music of dreams

and a thousand whys—

we want to

run after her and

ask of death,

of whispers,

ugly shadows, yet let it

go, to sleep, aching.

  2. I love how the sun is a peach in your poem! Also,it reminds me so much of the idea ‘don’t let the sun go down on your anger,’ wherein one should forgive wrongs quickly so as not to seek or encourage vengeance.
